DDH (Congenital Dislocation of hip) managed without any surgery, with brace only.
1 day old child came with complaint of foot deformity. But when Dr Somesh Virmani examined her patiently, she was also found to have dislocation of both hips.
Ultrasound of both hips was advised - which clearly showed DDH in both hips.

Pavlik harness Is a dynamic positioning device that allows the child to move freely within the confines of its restraints. Hence, it is quite easy for the child to adjust to this.
This is follow up Ultrasound report which clearly showed that hip has been put to its natural place.
Ultrasound report at 5 months
After 6 months of age, the child was maintained in hip abduction brace.
Follow up X-ray - both hips are at their natural place and almost normal X-ray of both hips.
