6 years old boy came with complaint of severe limp and inability to walk more than 30-40 metres & difficulty in sitting. X-ray showed Severe bilateral developmental coxa vara.
He underwent proximal femur corrective osteotomy and fixation (one side at a time)- in Dec 2021 & May 2022.
In this osteotomy, the angle of the femur bone near hip joint was corrected.

After the removal of plates

The plates have also been removed and he is able to walk and run well. He takes part in schools sports activities.
